Objective: This course provides an introduction to gas turbine safety and covers safety concepts including risks and hazards, safe working mindset & methods for working on gas turbines and an interactive maintenance task simulation to assess learnings.
Course Description: This course is divided into four sections, starting with a refresher and overview on basic safety concepts to ensure participants are aligned with safety terminology. The second section covers safe working mindset and explores safety steps before commencing work on or around Gas Turbine Engines and Packages. The third section delves into safe working methods and provides practical safety tips for working on or around gas turbine engines and packages. The fourth and final section simulate a real-life gas turbine maintenance task and lets students apply their knowledge and what they have learnt from this training.
