
Mr. Van Leuven began his career as a Mechanical Design Engineer for Solar Turbines, where he helped develop the original Taurus 60 product and led the T7000 uprate mechanical design team. Subsequent roles with Solar include Field Engineer, Product Support Manager and District Service Manager. Most recently Mr. Van Leuven was a Principal Rotating Equipment Engineer for Williams Energy where provided a wide range of support for gas turbines and centrifugal compressors, from authoring procurement specifications to 24/7 equipment reliability support. Mr. Van Leuven has developed exceptional expertise optimizing the integration of gas turbines and compressors with the end user’s process systems.
Mr. Van Leuven has developed various computer applications for rotating equipment, which are used extensively all over the world. Examples of applications include high speed trending, Human-Machine Interface, dynamic process modelling, trim balancing and historical data analysis.
Mr. Van Leuven has a BSc in Engineering from California Polytechnic State University and a MSc from the University of California, San Diego. He holds a Professional Mechanical Engineer license in the state of California.
