Davis Graduated from the University of Manchester (UK) with a master’s degree in aerospace engineering, having a keen interest in internal combustion engines and compression. He started his engineering career as a graduate customer engineer with Cummins, working on diesel system applications before relocating to Australia where he worked for General Motors Holden as specialist Engine Calibration Engineer, working as part of the engine development team working on turbocharged and naturally aspirated engines for Automotive applications across 5 model years. Further adding to his technical background, he later joined Solar Turbines as a Customer Services Project Applications Engineer. Working on commercial and technical aspects of projects involving Gas turbines uprates, package system upgrades, obsolescence reviews and Controls retrofits.
