Engine Core:

Description : The gas turbine engine is a Centaur 40 T4500 model and is an original engine that has not been overhauled. A preliminary borescope report is available upon request.

Condition/Status: The engine is in serviceable condition. However, there are several areas of heat distress from flame impingement with loss of material aft of the combustion can adjacent to the PCD inlet louvers noted.

Reduction Gear Unit:

Description: Solar Turbines reduction gear unit. The reduction gear unit is of a high speed, two stage, star compound, epicyclic design, available with output speeds of 1500 or 1800 rpm, depending on generator configuration.

Condition/Status: Ring, Planetary, and Auxiliary Dive gears found to be in a good condition with no visible signs or wear or gouging. However, the uncoated casing is showing minor signs of corrosion
